Tap dance classes in Suffolk

Tap dancing is a good choice for all ages and we start with easy steps to fun music for younger students who find it a delight to dance and hear the noise of the shoes on the floor. For older students and adults we increase the knowledge of steps and understanding so they can challenge themselves with more technically complex rhythms and timing. At The Dance Factory (Suffolk), our classes are designed to follow the ISTD syllabus which helps in instilling good rhythm, technique and style. We conduct regular ISTD exams, from Primary to Advanced 2. The higher exams count for UKAS points. We aim for all our tap dancers to develop their skills to become percussive and expressive tappers.
